SHOCKWAVE
THERAPY:
A non-invasive treatment combining physical, percussive contact with sound healing through high-energy acoustic waves to stimulate the natural healing process while reducing pain & sensitivity.
Why It Works:
-
Modulating Pain Pathways
By introducing new stimuli to a painful area, we can disturb a developed pain pathway, allowing our nervous system to reinterpret existing sensations.
-
Increasing Stem Cell Count
Research shows a 180-350% increase in free-floating stem cells in the blood after a 15 minute shockwave treatment, aiding in tissue repair and regeneration.
-
Therapeutic Angiogenesis
Shockwave therapy stimulates new blood vessel growth in order to rehydrate tissue, delivering oxygen and nutrients to the target area, helping the body to heal.
Functionally Integrated Healing for Acute & Chronic Pain.
REAL AFTER CARE
Pain Tells Us A Lot.
There is pain that we need to respect and listen to: sharp, acute, ‘don’t do that’ pain sends a warning to the brain, and our reflexes stop us before we can do more damage. Think of burning your hand on the stove, or cutting yourself on a knife.
And then there is the pain of healing. The dull throb of your burnt finger as your body works to repair itself, or the ache in your muscles after an intense workout. When we shy away from this kind of pain, we can limit our mobility and create more problems in the long run.
It’s important to remember that pain is a somatic experience, a chemical signal in the body that gives us information about our inner and outer world. When we ignore it, it will often get louder. When we avoid it, it tends to have a cascading effect.
The best way out is through. Our work during Shockwave Therapy is to find your 6/10. The intensity is adjustable, so what can you tolerate? This is where you’ll get the most benefits over time: more blood flow, tissue repair, and reduced pain in the long-term. All you need to do is lean in.

Meet Dr. TJ
I was born into a chiropractic family in Maine. My passion for helping others and sense of adventure led me to the Pacific Northwest, where I graduated from the University of Western States Chiropractic College.
Though we often associate chiropractors with the skeletal system, both my education and my subsequent career have been focused on the muscular system—the ‘pulleys’ of the body, whose individual, primary functions lead to dynamic and natural movement.
My experience and understanding of muscle systems means I’m able to intuitively find the source of pain. Meanwhile, shockwave technology allows me to deliver a more sustained, therapeutic dose of energy to the affected area, reducing pain to achieve deep tissue healing, a wider range of movement, and better quality of life for my clients.
